1999 E46 320d Angel eyes

Hi y'all !

Finally got my self a beemer last week, and couldnt help smiling to my self ever since :lol

Now I want to install angel eyes on ma littly baby.

I removed the head light cover and measured the light, it is 140mm in diameter and has the top bit of the circle missing.

All the LED rings on ebay are complete circles, and none are 140 mm ( the ones advertised as 140mm have an OUTER diameter of 140mm).

I'd prefer CCFL over LED, but I simply cant find ones of that size. Am I missing out on something obvious here ?

And in my excitable nature, I only measured one light ( the inner light ). Is the outer light diameter the same ?

i think the pre face lift angel rings will both be diffrent sizes,

i think the top set are for pre facelift

SAMs right, the pre facelift are different sizes, but the larger ring gets partially hidden by the lower shrouding, if you want to see both rings fully you can fit E36 rings.

Think I'll DIY with EL wire ( double lines I guess,cos they are not as bright).

I just fitted angel eyes to my e46 1999 coupe. Off ebay & no problems. They are not full circle the top is cut across with the wire ends & bracket attached. I used the glue gun as the sticky pads supplied wer,nt much good. Fitted aftermarket xenons at same time the whole set looks fantastic. finished putting M3 front bumper on yesterday & that looks superb too. Is there anywhere on here to post pictures of car. .

looking good mate i have the ccfl half halo rings fitted to my e46 saloon and i think they set it off

Yes they are good. But the thread started with the guy asking about complete circles. Mine are not all the way round , they have about a 1 1/2" gap at top where the bracket holds them together. I think they were £17.00 off ebay. Laugh is when i pull up to garage doors at night it light the whole drive up. Have taken side light bulbs out so hope they are legal.

Hi guys!

The e46 final facelift angel eye rings are full round circles but all other e46 kits are round with the flat bit at the top.

Also non-projector angel eye rings are 1 small and 1 large but the projector e46 angel eyes are all the same size just like the E36!
