Can you not get "Dog Roof Racks" where their paws are velcroed into a 4 point mechanism?

That would save you taking the dog for a walk as it gets loads of excercise (especially on the motorway). If it deficates you do not have to pick it up!

My Dog says that it would prefer that to having to be jammed into a TT!!

If you are looking to buy a non BMW and fancy and Audi, just take your pick and then buy the equivalent Skoda. Skodas are brilliant without the additional expense of buying another VAG group car and they are all the same under the skin!

I sold my Fabia vRS and moved to BMWs as it caught fire :embarrassed

Once I put the flames out it kept smoking 'till I forced the (non quick release) battery terminal off!

I do miss this though:

From Bangor to the New Forest on less than ½ a tank :thumbsup

keep the bm and buy a lesser vehicle like a vectra ;)

Golf GTi Mk5, with a map.

Huge, huge fan of the wife's, does everything you could want in a car, goes well, economical, handles well, accomodates well. It's bl**dy great :thumbsup

How 'mapped was it though? :hihi

Vote for an Octavia VRS here (if you're not R32 inclined). Used to love our old Mk1, and it drove better than it's (twice the price...) mk4 Golf Bretheren.

320d touring I have does not feel like an estate car, more like a hatch back. And the rear boot lid does not have to be used as the glass only can be opened on its own..

The touring is a good shape (e91) but its not as pretty as a 330 c, or a tt.. and so I can see why you are looking at a TT....

The A3 and golf are good cars, but so boring to look at and drive, be it that they do drive well............

Just bought my 330, but one car for sure I'd never buy and that being another Skoda. Had a mk2 Vrs diesel estate. Worst car I've ever owned. Cost me a fortune. Something constantly going wrong with it. :frown
Yes, the mk2's use the later FSI engine don't they rather than the old 20VT. I did think they were quite reliable though :frown. Maybe you had a duffer? Onwards and upwards now though eh :thumbsup
