Personally i would go for a 50 or 55 watt kit not a 35. And get 4300 or 6000K bulbs. 8000 would be a little to blue IMO. but then you may like that kind of thing. You will need bulb adapters as well.

I have this kit with 4300 bulbs. (the best for light output and the same as OEM bulbs) It comes with cancelors and bulb adapters. Its plug and play and works 100%.

I got a kit of ebay before and one headlight strobed and my radio reception was really bad with the lights on where the ballasts were cheap and not insulated propperly. It was that bad i had to take them off in the end. It was a false economy. It never came with the cancelors or bulb adapters either and by the time i had got all that i had just as well of gone with the HID's direct kit.

There's no need for a 55 watt kit as it overheats the plastic lens, 35 watt is bright, I'd recommend hids4u who do a car specific kit which is plug and play, from my experience I found hids direct to be less useful than a chocolate teapot :)

Crespo, are you 100% sure they are 55 watts? I'm pretty sure BMW lights are fused at 15 amps and on 55 watt hids it takes over 8 amps per light when the ballasts ignite them, so 16+ amps going through a 15 amp fuse is cause for fuse blow.
