Whats the recommended replacement mileage for a cam belt or timing chain on the 3.0 M54 engine?

The only BMW engine ever fitted with a cambelt was the M20 engine which went out of production in 1992 i think. The M54 is fitted with a chain and never needs replacement, it's a lifelong item so don't worry about it.!
One of the reasons i bought my 1st bmw i was sick of paying for cambelt changes...lol
Pricey if they go though best part of £500 sorted the mrs engine out on hers when it decided to go

They do stretch though over time
If u take the oil cap off and look directly down u will see the timing chain for future reference
