Hello to all,

This is my first post, so as the title suggests its a simple noob question but I hope you can help. Thanks in advance!

From looking at:

http://www.digbritain.co.uk/motoring/bmw-car-tyre-pressure-for-the-3-series/

It states the tyre pressure for my 320d should be 26psi at the front and 32psi at the back. I have done this today but really just want to double check that this is indeed the best pressure?

Can anyone also please clear up why the pressure is quite different (lower!) than most other models according to the chart.

Cheers, any guidance is really appreciated. :thumbsup

Thanks NealP.

Have just had a look and its a bit scuffed up but from what I can see its showing (my tyres = 205/55 R16 91W) 2.0bar at the front and 2.4bar at the rear.

Have just looked at conversion chart and that works out at 29psi front and 35psi rear.

Now Im confused :confused

Thanks 325iNick.

Have just checked and front ones (Michellin 205/55 R16 91V) state never exceed 40psi. The back (Continental 205/55 R16 91W) state the same.

Today I have put 26psi at the front and 32psi at rear as the link shows. But the label in the car shows totally different. Im thinking maybe I should do 29psi front and 35psi rear.

Any ideas?

Yeah it does. The 29psi front and 35psi rear is normal (4 people shown) and next figure is 35psi front and 42psi rear (5 people plus luggage etc).

I would say that 95% of the time there is no more than 1 passenger with me. I do a mix of motorway and local driving so just want to know what people recommend?

Cheers again.
