think you can fit them to any lights some one might come on who knows more.

Not necessarily OP. You've got a clip-on lens unit so fairly easy to install 4 rings :thumbsup. Purchase them from ebay or a reputable supplier and follow these instructions once you get a set...LINK.

 

Thanks for the link but that guide still shows the later headlight which I don't have. Also didn't explain any of the wiring

 

You mean your headlight doesn't split as per guide?

Wiring the AE inverter is simply by tapping into the existing 2 side light wires. :thumbsup

 

Yep, wiring is as Slowtech said:
The side lights are on stalks which you twist and pull out of the back of headlight reflector, then unplug the stalk. Inverter wiring has small flat pins at the end of the wires which slot directly into the wiring plug you unplugged the stalks from. Tape them up with some electrical tape and you're good to go. A bit of clear sealant on the back of the rings is a good idea, aswell as sealing the hole left from removing the stalks to prevent condensation when it's cold.

 

Arr I see but Could still do with knowing if my lights are capable before I spend money on rings.

 

You can 100% - I've done it on mine, the how to link that NealP gave you is correct for your model.

heres 2 small pics of mine in daylight, these should be the same headlights you have "reflector type" fitted on the pre facelift model before 2003ish.

when you buy them just ask the seller what type theu are.
if you buy them from say ebay if they are the reflector or projector get the reflectors and you'll be fine

Cheers guys big help gonna get some now! Was fitting them hard. Did they just plug in or was there and wiring to do?
