Hello everyone, I have just bought myself a 2013 520d with 80k miles.
I am in England but the car has majority Northern Ireland Service and MOT. So Most I cannot see what has been done at MOT centres in terms of advisories etc.
The car has had the generic oil changes and break pads etc which are shown on the iDrive but there are things I am unsure about.
Would it be worth doing a gearbox oil change now? Spark plugs etc anything else you guys recommend?
Is there anything I should keep an eye out for or any preventative maintenance I should do just to keep this notorious N47 in check?
The timing chain doesn't make any noise so I am not to worried about that, but any other fluid changes or parts which I should consider doing or keeping an eye out on.
Do they suffer from rust issues or is there anything I should get under the car to have a look at etc?
I want some general advice please. I do approx 20k miles a year so I want to be sure everything is fine and it'll keep going for the next 3-5 years without blowing up
