Just wanted to compile a list of problems to tackle and ask others which issues they have had and solutions, Purchased N52 with 160k Miles.

- Oil around gasket cover
- Fuel cap wire broken
Common Issues:
- Thermostat (60 to 80K)
- Spark Plugs (60k)
- Water Pump (80K)
- Valve Stem Seals (80 to 100K)
- Vanos Solenoids (100K)
- Timing Chain (300K)
- Serpentine belt (60 to 80K)
- Ignition Coils (120 to 140K)
- Crankshaft seal front and rear (130K
- Carbon deposits in cylinder (Anyone done terraclean)
- Valvetronic motor seal (experience of failure and life expectancy ?)
- Head Gasket cover (experience of failure and life expectancy ?)
- Head Gasket seal (experience of failure and life expectancy ?)
- Oil Filter housing and gasket Thermostat (experience of failure and life expectancy ?) {Heard this can be very damaging as oil can leak onto serpentine belt}
- CCV valve (experience of failure and life expectancy ?) {This can be cause of oil consumption}
- Oil change to 5W40 (suggestions on this ?)
