Hi all, new here so greetings to everyone involved and thanks for having me. Long story short, harman kardon sounds and means proper business but only when it works, I’m an audiophile so standard sound system was a no no, but this is just so frustrating, every so often the amp switches off and back on and at least once a week it just shuts itself off until the car is turned off and after a while it’s back on. Looked up such an issue and in warm weather counties it’s a common problem and fitting auxiliary fan does the job but in UK we all know what’s weather is like so overheating is not a case. Hope anyone have any answers to that b4 I start my unwanted bmw warranty experience 🙄

Hi my harmon kardon amplifier booster has just stopped working I have no bass coming out of the floor speakers under the seat!!
Anyone with any ideas bmw have told me it needs a new booster amp..
Is it possible to change the amplifier for another make? I've heard the alpha 1 amp would be a better solution?
