I'm looking to buy my first bmw and have been spending hours looking at different engines - I'm down to selecting between these two 520d or the 530d.
520d option is:

The difference is about £3k between them and I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it. I'm assuming it'll also cost more in fuel and insurance, so maybe the 520d is a better choice for a first bmw?
