I have a 2015 F11 535D that's just clocked 90k miles. Had no issues with the car and change the oil every 5k miles. After reading several other sites about potential N57 timing chain issues do you think it's time for me to bite the bullet and have the chains and tensioners replaced?
I love the car and mainly do long motorway journeys in it for business use.
I've also seen posts reccomending to get the pump and crank bearings replaced at the same time but would be a hefty ÂŁ2.5k maintenance bill.
Any advice would be appreciated and if it needs to be done could you a reccomend an independent specialist based in the south of the UK.
