Hi,

I've only had my 330ci for just under a week now and earlier today I was trying to get my phone call to go through my cars Bluetooth system, with no success, I kept pressing the telephone button but nothing happened? Once the call was over I tried to put the CD back on which I was listening to but the system just seemed to have frozen as al it came up with was the cd number as well as the track number which was playing previously? I tried pressing the menu button but that didn't appear to work neither did trying to go over to the radio? When I got home I took out the cd cassette in the boot, reinserted, locked the car, unlocked the car and tried again but still the same issue, anyone experienced this before and what needs to be done to get it back to normal please?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I don't really want to take it to the stealer if I can help it?

Cheers:thumbsup

Just reboot it with the cd-rom in your bmw wallet if not download it maybe or buy a new copy might be worth looking for a 2014 updated one

U know your bluetooth is that in the glovebox because i often get in mine and the screen will go to the phone screen with the call button or back button i always press back button as i have no need to pair but i do remember buying the car the owner showing me pairing his phone with it and it worked but ive never managed to work it for years i asked if yours is in the glovebox because theres also a little black box in there attached to the top of the glovebox just like a parrot bluetooth kit but im not sure if thats factory or been added after it definately has the microphone above the mirror etc so its all their just wondered if it the oem or parrot kit ive got

I only noticed it was there one time clearing out my glovebox and knocked the jog control wheel i nthe middle then its started saying german, spanish, french etc for me to select a language...lol

I'll have a look, never noticed anything like that when I was in there before but I wasn't really looking for it to be honest. The phone kit is strange, managed to connect my Windows Nokia phone and even had a conversation with my wife using it through the system but yesterday no matter what I pressed I couldn't get the call to come through the system, as far as I know you're just supposed to press the 'telephone' button to accept the call but this didn't work at all, it was after the call that the whole system did some kind of freeze thing? Will have another play later? Whether I can get it to work or not remains to be seen but one thing's for sure is that my phone doesn't automatically connect to the system, each time I get in the Car I need to physically go into my phone BT settings and connect with the system, bit of a pain tbh!

Thanks mate, so how do you answer the call then, what's the process from when your phone rings? I paired my Nokia originally and all was fine but now the only way I can pair the phone and car is by physically connecting it on my phone each time I get in, it's not automatic?

Yeah thats right i forgot on the steering wheel theres a little voice/speech button i did try pressing that before the guy at the stereo shop said the codes are normally 4 zeros (0000) i did try all that but never got it working im sure it doesnt pair with iphone because the previous owner had a blackberry and it worked on his fine when he showed me the handsfree im sure ive seen some cars with the speech looking button down by the dsc and heated seat buttons so maybe i dont have factory bluetooth id imagine the steering wheels stay the same across all specs so thats why that buttons on there
