Does anyone know if the GM 4L30E & A4S 270/R/310R have compatible filter kits for servicing?
It appears the BMW parts code 24111218899 can relate to both on some some internet sales sites.
What would be the best way to identify which gearbox I have in the car?
This car was the very first 318i E46 model released in Australia and had the M43 Engine (8 valves), May have to go in E36 forum, if UK E46's ddin't use this gerabox perhaps?
