Pretty much as the title says..
We have a 1987 pre-facelift E30 325i which has the Bosch Motronic 1.0 (35 pin connector) DME fitted to it. We're having a hard time finding a replacement ECU as the later Motronic ones were fitted with a 55 pin plug and the earlier ones with a 35 pin plug (which we need) and the first ones had the L-Jetronic which is of no use at all!
We have found an ECU from an E28 525e which is the 2.7L variant of the M20 series so will it run the E30 325i?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

It would have fitted and worked but we found out that the 525e is mapped for economy with roughly 135bhp and a rev limit of <4500rpm haha!
