Car engine management light keeps coming back

Evening Guys i poped to my local engine management centre had my car pluged in come up with 2 fault codes 02 Sensor , Cam shaft position sensor

I changed the sensors then had it reset but the light came back on so i got it plugged in again and blow me the same two codes were back again had them wiped and now back again so i am a little confused any help would be ace.

Drive the car for a while then reset them.

A fault code for a sensor actually means Sensor, wiring to the sensor or the thing the sensor sences

have done mate it turns off for a week then it returns again

I'd go for a genuine BMW cam sensor, as non OEM ones are useless.

i did think that but both codes again the 02 sensor was replaced last month

Clean the contacts of the electrical connections to the sensors.

This has happend to me in the past. Built up oxide is slightly removed when you unplug and plug back in, but it builds up again to throw up a fault.

Yes, the O2 sensor was more likely to be a symptom of a bad cam sensor and was unlikely to have any problems.

yeah ill try cleaning the terminals ill also look for a bmw camshaft position sensor
