It should not be possible for a Diesel engine to backfire, unless you have swapped the wires to the injectors or the timing chain has slipped.

 

The problem occurred when the car was started. No error was noticed before that. I do not getting any error codes that indicating the timing chain. Can the timing chain break without getting error codes?

 

Don’t worry about the DPF over mileage that’s just a software generated info code based on what BMW expect life to be.
Have all injectors been tested?
Have you had a compression test done?
I don’t recall any hoses on the bottom of n57 intake manifold, only pipework is where egr enters and anti shudder flap but they are on the front.

I have done a test on the return of the diesel to the tank on the injectors. Injector five and six was different. I have changed the injector nozzle on these two. Can remove the spreaders and do a test. I have not done a compression test

 

Yes chains can and do go without flagging codes.

 

I have now removed all injectors and tried them outside of the engine. They do not spray. I think it is my fuel pressure is the problem. I get around 330bar on the fuelsystem when I try to start the engine with my injectors outside

 

I think the problem is the fuelsystem. My injectors sprays only some times when I have them outside the engine. I did remove the pipe from the high pressure pump and I don't not get any fuel at all. Do someone have any suggestions? My pump in the tank working. I have change the fuel filter. Sometimes it rattles and I think the fuel starts working after it rattles. I gave removed the high pressure pump and I can't se any damage.
