My dad has a BMW 730LI E66 from 2005, with very low mileage, about 14,000 miles, with a lot of options in an immaculate showroom condition. He is wanting to sell it, but knows he won't get a lot of money for it as it's an older car.

It's been sitting in his garage under blankets most of the time (he doesn't want to use it in case it gets dirty), plus the roads where we live are not big roads and the car is big.

One problem with it sitting in the garage is that he rarely drives it, and probably because of that, it gets errors. I started it today and it was showing a tilt error, I think, saying that because one side is higher than the other we should drive slow going around bends.

The car was exported out of the UK a couple of years after it was manufactured, and as a result its tax/MOT history will be extremely limited. Just looking to see how much he could realistically get for the car in the UK?

I have looked up the VIN and attached pictures of its details.

Thank you.

I'm interested in the car.

You have a number of highly desirable options:

Comfort seats
Active Cruise Control
Rear blinds
Fridge
Rear entertainment

and its generally extremely highly spec'ed

Your error could be issues with adaptive drive, which can be notoriously hard to repair due to some components being very difficult to access above the rear subframe.

A car that has sat for so long can have many issues with the rubbers and plastics hardening and degrading, but I doubt there is a 7 Series out there with a more pristine interior and body! I'd be interested to know the service history.

Are you based in the south east? I have a 730d with 15x the miles! If you were very local i'd happily plug in and check whats causing the tilt fault.
