Take care when ordering parts from these guys. Sometimes you get lucky and items arrive in a few days, but more often, they take at least a couple of weeks. Tracking info is inaccurate, customer service is chaotic, and refunds take weeks to process.

Had a similar experience with them really - my parts got switched to Ridex parts because they didn't have stock, how crazy?!

Don't think their warehouse is in the UK either. Honestly speaking I would just go for local resellers like ML Performance or the likes of Amazon even though price wise they may not match Autodoc. Those few ÂŁ in savings are just not worth the hassle.

Autocroc is in Berlin and they are really hit and miss at times with how long stuff takes to arrive. I have had good and bad experiences with postage. They are terrible for switching items to ridex as this is their own brand,if they message to say part isn’t compatible and suggest ridex cross reference the part you ordered to ensure it’s correct and insist they send that as you don’t want ridex.

I've used them three times ... never again! OK, prices might look sweet, but when you could have bought the same item locally for a few quid extra, fitted it and finished the job by the time the Autodoc parts get here, it's not much of a saving.

I have mixed feelings with Autodoc.
When in trouble e.g. warranty issue, they have disencourgement policy.
You have to do all homework by yourself to get a replacement or a refund.

Warehouse has been moved to Poland now and their customer department is in India.

As mentioned above they provide many choices, but not always cheapest prices! So beware and compare!
Most anoying behavior is without any notice, they will changed your order to their own brand Ridex and Stark.
These brands are really rubbisch compare to well known brands.
Top excuse they are use is : your item ordered is out of stock ( but it is not).
And irforming you Ridex or Stark is top quality , some warranty blabla...

Never had a problem with Ridex or Stark products, use them all the time.!
I am not a brand name snob,if it works well all is good with me.
As a sub note many Bosch brand parts are made under contract in China and stamped made in Germany.! you pay a fortune for that brand name tag.
Its as bad as paying a fortune for a tee shirt with a ralph lauren motif .

Never had a problem with delivery and used them about a dozen times over the years. But I agree that they are too slow, probably because they use GLS as the carriers and they are the worst international courier ever.

I also wanted to return a damaged oil filter and wrongly ordered O2 sensor last time and they made it too difficult inspite of me paying the 'safe order' fee. I told them I won't use them again unless absolutely no choice.

Orders always come late
But where would you buy all of these in uk??
It's ÂŁ1500 different in price to rebuild e63 suspension fully
I rather plan and wait then buy anything from uk

Faraz,
That's quite a big weekend you've got planned there. Do I see rear inner wishbone bushes in the box? I did that job a few weeks ago and it was pretty physical. The hydraulic press wouldn't move them and I ended up drilling them out and replacing them with polyurethane ones!

Last time I have a ridex exhaust mount compare to oem or other brands , what a difference.
Ridex noway same specifications as e.g Febi one or oem.
Very difference in dimensions and material.
I can make pictures if you want.

Same as for common items e.g Ridex cabin filter is really crap compare to Filtron etc.
So for me nomore these brands, have bought several items of this brands to compare ( because I want to have experience by own opinion).

On a more positive note, I've discovered a great supplier called Parts In Motion, based in the UK.
Good quality components, incredibly fast delivery, and great customer service, including being 100% honest about what's in stock, what's not, and when you'll get it.
Try them while you can (before they get bought up by the all-conquering Autodoc!)
