Great, thanks, much appreciated, I will try and access it engine compartment, although I can't see it when I open the bonnet, looks like I have to lift the plastic covering near the wipers. Many thanks

just another way to get you into their workshop,i mean ha way if it is buried in engine bay surely thats dangerous,summit not right,i still cannot help thinking its in rear somewhere and thats a 2nd battery ie for hybrid mild

It is definetly in the engine bay, I can just about see it, but very hard to access. Looks like I have to take off the plastic panel near the wiper. Has anyone changed battery on a F40 or knows how to access the postive termina?
