Mine idles at approx 700rpm. 3.0d but older pre LCI model.

 

Not 100% sure but i think it should be around 650/700 rpm yours is high.

 

way too high..might have to get injector/maf sensor values read etc

 

Sorry folks! Did I say I was new to this car? I looked at the rev counter again and noticed that the first marker that I thought was 1k is in actual fact 500 ��. My idle is, indeed, at approx 700. You can't do much if the idiot that's behind the wheel is me!
