G'day all, have just purchased a 2008 E90 318i E90 LCI and when I purchased it there was the Airbag light on the dash. I have checked the codes and it shows 3 fault codes.

93AE - Headrestraint Fault
93AF - Headrestraint Fault
These are for both Passenger and driver side
93C1 - Passenger Occupancy

The previous owner says that the airbag light has always been on since the seats were changed to M sport leather seats from the previous non leather seats.
I can only assume the previous seats had the Active Headrests and as these seats no longer have these I now get the above Headrestraint fault codes.
Although the car works fine with this light on it is rather annoying so I need to get these faults removed. I have tried to reset the airbag light but as the car system thinks there is still a fault it will not let me reset the airbag light.
I have tried the resistor trick and connected it to the Headrestraint lead under the seats (2pin white plug) but this does not make any difference and the fault is still thrown!
So the big question is if there is anyone on here that has managed to clear these fault codes either through coding or a different resistor set up?
I'm in Telford so if there is anyone nearby that may be able to sort this or any ideas via the forum then I would be interested to know how to resolve the 3 fault codes.
Appolagises if this is in the wrong section but hopefully someone can help?
