should just start playing mate. Have you looked to see if the changer is plugged in? Its 2 wires

 

weird, it must be plugged in if the HU is displaying CD 1-6 and a track number.

Tried loading other discs?

I installed the CD changer in our car and you had to disconnect the battery, install the CD, then the unit detected the CD and away it went. Mine did not show track info or even CD until I had re-powered the car. The little arrow key will select the next CD in the stack, does that help?

Thanks for your input mate, but i found out that the guy had disconnected the cd and used the input for the i-pod dock:frown so know i have to buy or find
