Just got my car back,after second Expansion tank in 2 years burst open!!
I collected tank from BMW main dealer for the garage that recovered my car!
I asked them is this the new type tank made from a stronger material,which ive heard now exists,from postings on here.
Havent got a clue they told me!! But this part number has been revised at some stage???
Anybody know is this tank likely to be the new strong un burstable one,or a old type one thats gonna cause me more grief in the near future??
Anybody know when this new type appeared on the scene? It looks just like the old one to look at??
