1999 318is coupe M44 e36 engine coolant advice

whats the best cooland i should buy? im flushing my system as i changed the thermostat a while back and never got round to it and now my coolant is old so time for a change. Ive been looking at bmws own coolant £10 for 1.5 litre. How much do i need? i believe its a 4 litre system, and sounds a bit daft but i have to water down the coolant right? lol sorry never done coolant before. cheers

Use BMW coolant. It's supposed to be different (and better) than anything else you could by for an e36.
You only change coolant every 2 years so the cost isn't too bad.
You're supposed to water down 2:1

I use 2 1.5l bottles on my 6-cylinder, giving around 3:1. My dealer said normally in this country they use only 1 per change!

Im not the most the technical person on cars , but i would imagine all coolants are just the same , I would just go to supermarket asda/tesco And buy one from there , it will have a dilution ratio on the bottle , although for the weather at the moment I would go stronger, nearer neat .
