116i fails to start on warm engine

Hi does anyone have experience or knowledge as to why an E87 2006 116i SE would crank a little longer on cold engine and fails to start on a warm engine - just long cranking. Once running, it drives wonderfully. Any help advice and assistance would be greatly appreciated thank you.

if it was carb i would of said fuel vapor which use to happen when they got hot,is the
fuel getting through okay.

RAC engineer checked fuel pressure under bonnet while I cranked the engine and was happy that it was getting through fine.

dont know if you have checked but what about plugs and coils.

I’ve fitted new plugs (which has improved engine from running a little rough until warmed up). Not sure what to inspect and check on coils... thank you
