Really hoping someone can help please!
I recently bought a 2017 2 series Gran Tourer (automatic if that makes any difference) and I cannot fold the mirrors in.
I looked in the manual and online and it says there should be a button on the driver’s door next to the adjustment button to do it,but there is no button there at all (only the toggle to switch mirror adjustment).
I’ve gone through all the onboard computer setting options and there is nothing there to fold the mirrors in.
I’ve tried holding down the lock button,but that does nothing.
I have also tried to fold them in manually but even with a really good,extended push,it stays solid.I feel like any more pressure would snap them as it would equate to me putting pretty much all my weight behind it…
The only possible thing I can think of is if the electrics there were disconnected when the reversing camera was installed before I bought it?Sorry if that’s a really stupid thing to say but I thought worth mentioning.
Am I missing something or will I just have to live with the fact that I’ll never be able to fold them in??
