Hmm I wud be very tempted to be honest, say on your car where the air filters are do they have warranty seals on them so you cant actually open them up. Or do they not have anything? The reasons im sounding dumb is because weve got a E39 and they may have got up tight on things like that now, if it hasnt got anything on them, then I would just change them for K & N ones.

If its a panel filter you want, get one that isn't oily like a Pipercross or something. Stay away from K&N types, they are too oily and are likly to cause issues with your MAF.

This way you can easily sawp it for your standard filter everytime your car goes in for any warranty work etc (provided you keep the original filter).

If you get an induction kit then obviously your warranty will be void, although you may be able to argue whether or not a problem is linked to the new air filter.
