Hi everyone,

Rather new to this so sorry for my presentation. I have a 1992 bmw 318ise auto and I'm looking to supercharge it, but I have discovered that I appear to have a m40 engine which I believe is from an older model bmw.

It's a 1.8 and I need some help as I'm not sure if it can be supercharged and if it can what I need; if anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

Thanx

If its a e36 you would have a M43 engine and I would not charge it personaly as they are prone to head gasket failure.
Also the cost of doing or properly would be about 10x what the car is worth.

If you want more power why buy a 318i?
Stick a m52 328i engine in or just sell up and get a 328i.
