Hi, I did Czech Wrecks a couple of years ago... It was the best fun I have had on four wheels... If you're going to do it let me know... I might be able to help with a little advice... The only issue your going to com accross is getting rid of the car at the other end (unless you want to drive it back of course) Street Safari are the guys who run it and are really clued up but it is not there resposibilty if you crash, can't get across a border etc... They will try and expediate thing but at the end of the day it's up to you to get to where you need to be... When we went we bought a Cavalier for £99 of ebay and 'painted' it to look like a bently and then dressed up as arabs.... Like I say... Best fun I have had in a long time!!!!

it sounds fantastic you can only spend upto 150 quid on a car which wont be a problem im just worried about how much the whole run will cost us 4 days fuel, food, hotels, toll roads and so on

well 3 of us went on the Czech wrecks trip and we shared rooms etc... I think it cost us about £400 each including car/outfits/waterpistols/petrol/hotel/a PA system for the car/fees etc... and of course we raised about £1300 for charity... I won't pretend it's cheap but it is bloody good fun! Just make sure you take some one that's handy with spanners and very good at bodging... The exhaust went on our car and I 'fabricated' a section using a friendly farmers MMA welder and some Baked bean tins, needed patching with gaffer occasionaly but saw us through... another team bypassed the Turbo on their Escort TD using baked bean tins (those guys would have fitted in on Scrap Heap Challange)... Although the tins kept melting.... As I said Best fun you can have on 4 wheels!

we have already picked our car name its the "rust bucket" we are going to linish the car fully then leave it outside to weather then dry it fully indoors and laquer it add a few other touches the team name is "bodge it and scarper" we are all mechanically sound and fabricators as our profession, so bodging repairs wont be a problem at all we are just working on our costumes now i think 1 is defo the stig we just need to sort out the other 2 now i know its going to be a great trip with lots of fun on the journey.
