I am trying to locate the sos battery to replace it I have had the lining down up to the internal light but I can’t find it it’s a bmw 5 series 63 plate

I believe the battery is fitted to the telematics control unit so its this you are looking for, should be next to the shark fin arial, here is a video not your model but gives a view of where to look
On the 5 series I think it’s in the boot rather than under shark fin, either under boot floor or behind the quarter panel trim on new side.
