Had a spare couple of hours at work yesterday so masked the roof of the car off and applied 3 coats of a product called Ragg-topp to the soft top. first impressions the hood looks much darker than the G techniq roof protection (which is still a good product, but started to wear off after a couple of weeks)and also the water repellancy seems to be much stronger, its a genuine oem porsche part (apparently!)that their hood manufacturer uses on the fabric.I threw a cup of cold water on it today and the results were impressive!!!:jaw-dropping Time will tell how long it lasts tho!!!:confused

Looks like it come up really well mate...iv never done anything with my soft top other than wash it with soapy water twice a week so think im gonna treat mine once the hard top comes off... Where do you get that stuff from? I noticed you have masked the car off alot... is that necessary? Just so i know for when i do mine!

By the way stunning motor :thumbsup

soft top protection

Cheers mate. has come up great, really pleased. Need to mask off mate,it comes in aerosol so overspray goes everywhere. Its a mare to get off if it gets on paintwork or glass so spending time masking off properly is well worth it! Google the name Raggtopp and the site will come up. Not cheap,2 tins delivered is about £40 but worth it all day long! will post some water beading on it when i get a min!!:thumbsup

Autoglym Soft Top Kit

I used the Auotglym Soft Top kit, cost £19.99 from Halfords. It's 2 bottles - 1 is a spray on cleaner and the other is a water proofer.

It cleaned all of the muck off after 2 applications, some it was hard bird muck and some of it was green algae on the joints. Don't think the previous owner had ever cleaned it !! Looks good now though.

:cool
