They make it up as they go along - seriously, it depends how you drive and how your journey is, lots of motorways etc give a longer gap, short town stuff reduces it, condition based service indication I think it's called, will be in your user guide...
It'll be on your disc.. hdd...
You should be able to drill down to your cars details to find which bits need to be serviced in X thousand miles..

Yeah - probably about right in terms of what they specify. There is, however, a strong school of thought that official intervals are best ignored if you plan to be the long term owner.

Long cycle oil changes are correlated with additional wear on timing chains, tensioners, turbos etc etc. They look good for fleet managers who chop the cars at 60-80k but are a longevity disaster beyond that.

Every 10k is probably the sweet spot.
