Would anyone fancy a meet up at Falkirk Cruise maybe on the first Thursday of next month? I would try and get there early so there could be 2 or 3 full rows of spaces taken up by Beemers!

I would of come up to the Aviemore meet although I am 600 miles south working in Southampton till the 15th (B*****D!) :sarcastic

Please leave a reply if intrested...

There is always a big police pressence so make sure your car is 100% legal, tyres etc...

Yeah pop across if you can, to be honest I don't know how many will turn up craig I just thought it would be good to get a few locals together.

As for your Escort that's a lovely motor! If money was no object that would be the car for me... stuff the Ferrari's, Lambo's etc... The Cossie was a school boy dream for me.

I saved up from being 15 and got myself a nice Black series 2 Escort RS Turbo on an E plate when I was 18, It lasted around 4 months then a conrod blew through the block on number 1 piston .

It sat on a friends drive after that whilst I saved up the money for a new head an block, I returned to check on it one afternoon and the bonnet was slightly open, I lifted it and the engine bay had been completely stripped of all the goodies, Samco's, chrome rocker cover, strut top's, charge carrier, filter, bonnet rod an so on!

Thiefing little scally b****rds!

Ended up Getting an AX GT after that on 40's and swapped what was left of the RS to get the AX painted/Smoothed etc...

I have been a sucker for ford and had many an rs turbo back in the day, that must have been devastating to go back and find your motor in that state.................pikey scum!!!

I have never owned an RS since for some reason, but yeah after all that hard work and saving it really got to me :mad

Yeah it used to be busy, I've not been for about two years now...
I never went to Strathy park cruise, never been to Ayr either but I would go through in the summer without a doubt. :thumbsup
