Was looking and found this dealer refurb
Next door just bought some that need refurbing, and was quoted £40 per wheel and thats for powder coating. So at £54 from the stealer I though that was not bad.

makes ya laff don't it my local stealer told me that bmw does not believe in refurbishing any sort of bmw wheels..

thats only cos they wanted to sell me a brand new one at the time..

missus mate who works there told me where they have them all refurbed..

Its 'from' £54 and i'm guessing that'll get you a small scuff touched up not full wheel powder coated. Local place to me offer a daily service as follows,
-Drop car off 8a.m
-remove all wheels and tyres
-refurb (fill scuffs)
-respay in choice of colour
-refit and balance tyres
-Pick up by 5p.m
All for £250 which i thinks great for all 4 18" wheels.

I paid £160 for 4 18" MV1's that was them sand blasted, welded not filled, one wheel was cracked along 4 spokes so he welded that, powder coated gun metal grey to a high standard removed and refitted and balanced.

Custom Coatings UK would recommend to everyone! Google it!

No mate you have to either courior wheels to him or drop them off. He offeres a local pickup/delivery service. He done my wheels so I will post a pic tomorrow and show just how good he is mate.

Well my neighbour is taking is car to Sheffield dealers Tom, so I'll ask him what he gets quoted. His are abit of a mess and will need stripping back, all 4 will need doing. I'll let you no what the price is

I just had my 328i sport BBS split rims refurbished today.
I took them to the same place as my last cars wheels (my old saloons style 24's), a place in nottingham called thewheelspecialist.co.uk. I could have had them split and new bolts fitted etc, but chose the cheaper option, a down to bare metal strip, hand finished any imperfections/fill any scratches, primer/powder coat/laquer, baked in oven, refit tyres n balance.
I did choose a more expensive paint than the basic silver, had the bbs centre caps done to the same standard as the wheels, and had polished aluminium valves too which cost extra.
The total cost for four wheels was £400. It is a bit more expensive that some places granted, but (and I cannot stress this enough) the wheels are absolutely perfect. I cannot fault them in any way, they are better than new in fact, absolutely top quality job.

I got mine done at wheelemin in Hull a couple of weeks ago they acid dip blast and powder coat i was very pleased with the results.
