Hell Everyone, just wondering if someone can help me. I bought a 6 disc CD changer which came out of a BMW 316i, i own a 316i SE and thought it would fit in no problem.....i have only just today learnt that the cable end and the CD cahnger input socket is slightly different and will not connect up.

Does any know what i can do?????

:frown

Thanks

Paolo

Went to Halfords and Maplin to try and find a lead converter if you know what i mean , something that can go in between and connect them both up but they didnt know ANYTHING.

I would have to take out the wall of the boot to see IF the wire disconects but i dont think it will:( ....

I wonder if i can change the end of the connector ...but it looks like i would have to cut it away, doesnt just unscrew.

:(

Hmm yeah I see what you mean, youd probably be best trying to get hold of an adaptor from somewhere.

Is there any car audio specialists where you live, or there must be an auto electrician nearby who can help you:thumbsup

Edit: What is the make and model of the head unit and cd changer?
