Hello all, i want to pick your brains again

I have recently looked into remapping my 1991 325i, i consulted Emaps(most helpful), i was in formed that pre 96 cant be remapped but can be chipped instead.
Does anyone have any experience in this, regarding price and performance increases?thumbsup

Haven't found anyone yet but expect to pay upwards of £300 if you do and you should get from 192hp to around 207hp

Any idea where it will "apply" the power? Ive heard that the remapping gives more mid and low range usable power, this makes sense to me and its something i want as power from my bimmer seems to be available at approx 4k+!
