hi there i'm new to this forum.
i have a 325ti compact 03 reg and i was wondering if a e46 m3 engine will fit with out to many problems.i can get hold of the full engine, gearbox ,loom and ecu.
if anyone could shed some light on this it would be very helpful.

will you do the conversion yourself ? it is possible, you,ll be needing a diff as well

yeah i will be doing the conversion .will the rear axel fit a compact?

The electrics will be the main stumbling point, E46 M3 is electronic throttle control so you'd need more than the engine loom

that's what i was worrying about .
do they do any-type of stand alone management for the e46 m3?
i know this wont be cheap at all but is the best way.

so am i right in saying the e46 m3 engine will fit into my e46 compact with the drive-train from the m3 with not too many problems.i.e the mounts are the same.
