as in the title, im just short of finishing off building a 06 E60 520d that was a right off that i picked up V cheap and got a Question i need answering about the head lights,

now iv got normal halogen lights and and wondered if i can fit 08 E60 halogen lights instead,

they look the same fitment as in shape, but wondered if they will connect to the loom ok, or am i going to run into a lot of probs, ?

just these front lights now,

where mine where the OE ones after the smash they fill with water as they cracked,and steam up very easy, so iv mangaed to source a set off an 08 motor but iv been told they will fit, they wont fit, but done want to shell out £300 for them and they dont fit,,,,
so just trying to find an answer ?

also want to get the Msport S wheel and sills, but there later after my new garage is built, since them pics iv now got the right tyres fitted, new rear lights,
