Hello all, I've just bought myself a 2005 E46 330CD Cab M Sport Manual and is a return back to BMW from a bit of time away.

BMWs I've had so far are:

1993 - 316i
1994 - 525i Sport Manual (Avus blue, M5 a-like)
1989 - M635csi Highline (Gorgeous but a money pit)
1989 - E30 325i Sport (Fun)
1990 - 535i SE Auto
1991 - 535i Sport Manual
1995 - 840ci
1992 - 740i
2006 - 330CD M Sport Coupe Auto
2005 - 330CD Sport Cab Manual

So hopefully I might be able to share my ownership experience (and mistakes).

And I will be asking some stupit questions about my new car, I'm sure.

Welcome for a near-neighbour, we are growing in number round N.Bucks/Northants.

Several meets coming up over the summer which are close to you (one is very close, we even meet in your local Tesco on the way!), please join us if you can!

They're all in here:

http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/f5/

You/we're on the border of SE and Midlands so many of us fo to both. The first National is next month at Turweston (near Towcester), another at Santa Pod in July and yet another in August at Gaydon. All cracking events where this Forum is well represented!

We're a friendly bunch and usually arrange convoys from nearby to the event so new folk can find us and meet some people rather than just turning up. We do charge £7.50 for the Nationals (you'll see what it buys if you look at last years meets photo threads!...) and there's the admission charge on top of that.

Cracking day out or weekend if you like that sort of thing.........

Member Lewy-T has a Midlands meet in early June at the National Motorcycle Museum which is only an hour from you - smaller scale than the Nationals but many nice folk at those too.
