this is my 730i, standard just now




Engine
not done anything yet

Handiling
Apex lowering springs
new runing kit all-round (upper/lower suspention arms, wheel bearing)
powerflex bushes all-round
new OEM font calipers with Nitrac D&G discs and BD Preditor Pads

Inside
full interior swaped from gray to marine blue
alpine 7" in-dash with dvd/satnav/ps2/bluetooth/freeview
98 e39 3 spoke m-sport steering wheel
alpine speckers all round

still to be fitted-
Remus Stainless back boxes (ordered)
back to the alpina front lip again (planned)

and this is my normal runabout

the wifes not too happy, said she wasen't to bothered what kind of car i bought her so i got her a citron berlingo:lol2

what does the 325 drive like?
and how much did the engine mods set you back?

goes like stink, been up crail a few times with it and it done a 13.42 1/4 mile

sorry, should have put in "pic update in first post".

a mate had my steering wheel for ages to see if it worked in his and i just got it back yesterday. just changed one of the pics in the first post.

which mod did you find was the best value for money mod?

first for power, then for handling?

biggest jump was the cams for power, then the coilovers for handling

and how much power did you find the cams gave?

did it make the power 'harsher' at all. like, less smooth

if you get what i mean... lol

sorry, value for was pobley the s2000 with the FSE valve. you get a noticable jump in acceleration but the valve is a pain to fit

cams where about an extra 25 bhp without remap. didn't make it harsher. the clutch dose though.

and do you find the clutch transfers the power to the wheels better? of is it just there to handle the extra power?

yes to both, the 325 mostly gets used on tracks and when i bought a year ago i had to replace the clutch and it was a standard one i put in, that lasted for about 7000 miles, this ones hard waring and it grips quicker as well. with the new clutch it will wheel spin easly between 2nd and 3rd during sport changes on tracks where the standard one would slip for about half a second.

i see.... where did you get your cams from? looking to do it on my 2002 e46 325ti compact but cant seem to source them...
