i know as you read this you will probably be laughing to yourself but i am new to bmw and have got myself some mv1 alloys the problem i am having is i can't work out which are the fronts and which are the rear tyre sizes are 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 plz help

1st number is width 2nd number is profile(height) 3rd number is diamater so...
225/40/18 front 255/35/18 back, wider goes on the back for extra traction
