That to me suggests the why cooler is at fault, even if there’s no leaks is the bypass valve working properly to cool the gasses?
Typical BMW fob off saying oil etc

 

did you do a recall check,? id stick to your guns,tell them it endangered your life,and will get a solicitor if need be,this is exactly why the recall was launched,use bmw recall on line checker,its more upto date then gov.uk etc.

Intake manifold, but you also need to deal with the cause which will be EGR cooler

 

Thank you ive spoken to a mate who works at bnw williams and hes told me to take it in they have done alot of these replaced i had my cooler done last year on the recall they should have changed this part also but didnt Why i do not know
