I have a 2010 320 lci, it just has the standard BMW professional cd player.

I believe it will play MP3's from CD?

I have had a problem in the past where there is a maximum number of mp3's that the unit can play.

Does anyone know if there is such a limitation on the BMW unit?

Thanks

Limit of space on the disc, if they're all YES tracks then fewer than Little Mix perhaps...

What is it, 700Mb on a stock CD-R disc, I can't recall of running out of space on the disc before having copied what .mp3's on that I want.

I had a problem years ago with a car and that wouldn't accept a disc with over 50 mp3's even though it was only half full. Just wondered before I order some blank cd's. Are they still a thing? :)

I don't own any Little Mix you will be glad to know :)

I'd guess your max 50 limit was down to the car or cd player/head unit .. I had cd's with over 100 on and they played fine ... Nowadays I have a bluetooth dongle hooked up to the cd unit and play off the phone, but I haven't used cd mp3's for many years now.

Who are Little Mix :ROFLMAO:

That was what I was thinking of doing, maybe some type of blueooth hookup. Anything work with the standard BMW professional head unit? Is Parrot still a thing or that just for calls?

If you don't know who Little Mix are you are probably better off staying that way :D
