Hi i was wondering if anyone could help me. Im looking to get a new exhaust system for my 2001 330ci. I was wondering if an m3 system would fit my car and if the rear diffusor from an m3 would also fit??

Cheers

if the diffuser will fit then i suppose anything is possible.
i'm sure a decent pipe specialist could weld it up to fit
all depends on that bit of trim in the bumper lol :)
What clearance is there under the rear of the car? Normally the shell is the same throughout the range so it may have the locating points and clearance.

I'm sure the M bumper will be required which may be a PITA as the M3 is wider hence the reason it uses 5 series offset wheels on the rear.

Hi,
I had the same idea but it worked out to cost far too much. You would have to replace the whole bumper with an M3 bumper and not just the diffuser. The exhaust will not fit as you have to have the spare wheel well cut out. There are ways of doing it you get an M3 bumper by getting an exhaust specialist to make a replica exhaust that fits between the bumper and the wheel well. If you put in an internet search for this topic then you can see how people have done it but again it is very expensive. The best option is to get an quad exhaust that fits around the wheel well but sits equal to you current exhaust and not closer in like the M3.
