Hi, in my 320d 2010, I had a DPF filter error on dashboard for few months and recently I started losing power whenever I accelerated hard or hit 70mph on motorway and also on hard turning and bends.

I did not waste time and got my DPF cleaned straight away but as it stands my car still has a same problem of losing power on bends and when accelerating hard. I took it back and they said it is an issue with Oil Level Sensor and I should get it changed. I have called many other garages and they agreed with me that it is unlikely for Oil Level Sensor to cause this problem but they want to diagnose the car to get to the bottom of the problem.

Has anyone else been in a same situation? What could be the problem here? and what should be done to resolve it?

Much appreciated.

Thanks

Could be a split turbo or inter cooler hose as it happens when turning.
Never heard of oil level sensor killing power.
Regards the dpf your best getting it mapped out you won’t get any problems from it then

If it’s dpf fault you’d get the error message come back on or it would have stored faults which would need reading with a scanner

Where are you based
