So I took the car for a spin to get it all warm, came home and found various bits of wood etc to drive the back end on to lift it up just enough to get underneath but also keep the car level. Got a spirit level out too just to make sure :hihi Then crawled under and saw how big the allen head bolts were on the diff :sarcastic
I figured I'd get a selection of nuts and bolts and make my own 14mm allen headed tool to undo them. I failed, or rather the metal in the bolt I used failed :embarrassed
So my plan to do a 'quick' diff oil change has been scuppered :frown

:lol

It is a pain when that happens, I had to fit a Vauxhall camshaft sensor wiring loom today, but the engine had the old style sensor fitted so the new loom couldn't be fitted, needs a new sensor as well, :hihi
