Anyone know if retrofitting an ipod is difficult/expensive? Best done by BMW or by a car radio outfit?

I have a business cd radio which would normally control a cd changer (not fitted)...I believe it is a case of getting someone (not me) to fit a lead to plug into the car radio at the back.

Does your stereo have an Auxiliary INPUT in the front or back of the CD head unit?

Funnily enough I was just about to ask the same question! As part of the deal, the dealer has agreed to supply the ipod interface kit which is fitted in glovebox. Can this be easily self installed? (I'm getting a 335i with satnav next month). Tried the link but doesn't work.
