Our car has an intermittent horn and when I say intermittent it either works ok or not at all 50/50.

Horns are ok, fuse must be ok

I think it's down to either when using indicators or turning the steering wheel (this is the current theory, as of this evening but I expect most likely the latter of the two)

This evening I tried disconnecting battery for a few minutes, reconnected and went for a drive for about 2mls, horn worked all the way, turned around horn now not working at all until that is I turn into our road and it now works again.

Advice would be much appreciated

Thanks, shows our car as F20 but it's an F21 and then 48 different steering wheel combinations? only seems to show complete switch column assembly and no squib shown separately - probably why I can't find ANY for sale for our car.

Took airbag and steering wheel off and removed stalk assembly to have a look.

There appears to be two ribbon cables (flat cables) inside the squib, the one the horn connect to showed good continuity.

See pics below

After I put it all back together went for a drive and horn for the moment working even when steering lock to lock (checked both ways)
