Iv been having a problem with my car goin in to limp mode when i plug my cheap scanner in it says low fuel rail pressure but today i had it done by a garage with a good scanner and it come up with injector fault causin low fuel rail pressure

how much of a job isit to change an injector they was removed around 2500 miles ago when i had the timing chain done and also do they need to be coded to the car or will the car auto pick up the injector

Easy to remove them, disconnect leak off pipe,high pressure pipe,wiring plug, bolt and clamp and pull injector out. It will need coding if it’s replaced

Cheers mate do you know if they can be coded with a carly if not what will i need to get

No cary can’t code injectors,other than ISTA there are scanners that can do it. My foxwell nt650 elite does it,I assume others will also but don’t know any makes/models off top of my head

My local MOT & repair garage replaced one of my E91 320d injectors with a good used one and was able to code/set the calibration with his Snap-on diagnostics - non-BMW specialist
