Hi,

Bought a 2016 BMW 420d Grand Coupe with 34,000 miles on her and a service at this mileage. Now that I've been driving it for 6 months, I have 37,000 miles on it. Now, every time I turn on the ignition, I am notified that an oil service, visual inspection of the vehicle, brake inspection (has virtually new pads) are required and I have to accept each notification before moving off.

Anyone know how I can mute these or is the only way to bring it to a BMW dealer, to visual inspect the vehicle...?

Many thanks!

Was the service conducted by an independent/3rd party? Sounds like service reset actions were not carried out. It can be done using software/tools (ie Carly etc) or take to dealer and see if they’re having a miraculous generous day and reset for nothing (best case) small fee (worst case).
